Hi! I am a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Warwick

​

I am currently a recipient of a Leverhulme Prize and a British Academy Innovation FellowshipI am affiliated to J-PAL, BREADCEPR (development and labour), CAGE and the EEE program at STICERD.

 

I am also:

- associate editor at Econometrica,

- co-chair of J-PAL's Labor Sector,

- co-editor at VoxDev,

- co-director of the IGC Research Theme on Firms,  

lead academic for IGC Ethiopia.

 

I was a founding trustee of the Global Change Data Lab (the charity that produces Our World in Data​), but I do not longer serve in this role. â€‹
